PROJECTS

9th INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON FOOD & NUTRITION SUSTAINABILITY EVENT

STARTING POINT

Communicate the importance of individual behaviors in improving the future perspectives on food sustainability across the whole system.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Firmly establish the Foundation’s active role as a key knowledge center in support of the 2030 Agenda objectives, and reinforce the Forum’s significance as a fundamental networking opportunity.

ACTION

BCFN Foundation selected Plus+ and Aspen Media for the ninth edition of the international event dedicated to food and sustainability. Within a unique setting incorporating the “Sette Palazzi Celesti” (an art installation by Anselm Kiefer), the sector’s key players came together to share insights for the creation of a sustainable food system. The two days of meetings included talks from experts, institutions, young researchers and international media representatives.

Seven active workshops were organized to discuss best practices and to allow attendees to network. During the event, two outstanding projects focused on environmental sustainability were awarded (Media Award and BCFN YES!).
